Yesterday Matt rec'd this autograph picture of his all time favorite hockey player. Eric Lindros. More importantly it was given to us from our Beloved Uncle Bill's family. We miss him dearly, this is a lovely reminder of a great man and tough player.

I love our gardens, they may not be exciting to others but the colors and changes make me happy. We added a solar powered fountain. Everyone loves it, the kitties fall asleep to the gentle water, the birds sip and bath in it, and it's just so pretty.

Yes, shopping carts all lined up make me happy. Little known fact - hand carts in the grocery stores is one of the top 5 items stolen in a food store. The Acme manager told me that the other day, when I was complimenting him on having a full stack of hand carts @ 5pm. I love a full stack of carts. I guess it's a throw back to Genuardi's!

Ok, today is our company's day off and where was I? Jury Duty - ugh. It wasn't so bad we got out by 1:30pm and I was picked for the jury pool but not the jury. So I witnessed the system at work. God Bless America!

Opps, As we were putting the groceries in Matt's car I noticed this! He is illegal! Yes Mr. Legal who calls everyone else out on being illegal is not within the state registration guidelines. Don't tell the cops!

7-4-09 Happy 4th of July!

So todays excitement included a new purchase. A charcoal grill! Now, we have a very old gas grill that works perfectly fine but Matt says he likes the charcoal flavor - who knew? So we bought a 'aussie walker' grill, grill started, coals and had a wonderful dinner and dessert! I think the grill starter is going to make this very easy. See how happy he looks!
