Christmas Shoot

I forgot to show you the Christmas shoot with my brother Quincey, Q Bear, The President...he's got lots of names.

This is us being snuggly.

Daddy is trying to put the Santa hat on Quincey and Q Bear's dad, Chris, is trying to put the hat on me.

We like to chew on tassels of sweatshirts!

We're not having fun...but the dads look like they are.

Look at them - it's like they are yelling 'TaDA!'

But Qunicey and I have better ideas.....

The president showing off his new hat.

Q Bear resting.

HAHA I've got both hats!!!

This modeling stuff is exhausting!

Gotcha Day

1st off....thanks to all you lovely humans and puppies for the Christmas Wishes we had a great time. I'll give more detail in another post. BECAUSE>>>>>>>>> drum roll please...............

Today is my Gotcha Day!!!! Whooooo Hooooooo

1 year ago today, mom and dad got me for good and I'm a very happy Airegirl! Here I am about 8 months old in the back of the car on the way HOME.

I was missing my brother Quincey....but you all know that I see him on a regular basis now. Isn't that cool!

So 1 year later, we take walks and go all kinds of places. Today we went for our morning walkie...we found a new place. It won't look different to you but I know it's different because horses walk on the same trail. What ever they are...haven't see them yet.

And then, I was presented with a Violet pretzel cookie. YIPPEE!!!!!!

Again...the cookie. Look at it now because you KNOW it won't be around for long.

See ya! You know where I'm going....

OUTSIDE! I look very regal here, don't I?

Bless us O Lord for these our gifts.....

It's very important to be Thankful and Grateful.

YUMMO! Every day should be Gotcha Day!

Here's my daddy on my gotcha day 2009. He was very happy!

Now we're all happy! Trust me, you can't see mommy or the kitties, but we're all one big happy family!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

The Christmas picture out-takes.
What the heck is this thing on my head?

Daddy what is that hideous thing behind your back. Please.................leave it there!

This thing has got to go!

Maybe I should eat it...let me try.

Oh sure......distract me with a squirrel

REALLY, an Airedale should not be wearing this!
Merry Christmas everyone! It's my 1st Christmas here and I'm very excited.

treats

When I'm given a treat (like that happens everyday - Ah, no) I like to run around in the house and then run to the sliding glass door and stand there.

When I'm released to the beloved out doors, I wait....I revel in the loveliness of the bone and then I check to the left

I check to the right

Let me try this spot to enjoy my treat in private.

You just never know if that Roman cat is going to follow me out side. I heard he's not allowed but he's pretty determined.

Hello my lovely bone....prepare for chewage...yummo!

More Susquehanna....the water

Originally, we went to this park to see the Bald Eagles.

Well, we couldn't find the right spot to see them. So we went on our hike and then to check out the river.

As you can see I'm interested in said river. It's cold and windy.

I've spotted something that may take off.

It's so windy! This is a beautiful blue heron - still for now.

Mommy got a bunch of pictures of this beauty flying.

Speaking of beauty......

See ya...gotta run!

Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving. Not because of the food, football or parades. I LOVE Thanksgiving bc my humans are home A-LOT! We've been on some good hikes this 4 day weekend. AND it's ONLY Saturday. I can't wait to see what we do on Sunday!

Today we drove down i95 alittle bit to the Susquehana State park. Apparently this is a 1800's historical site. I couldn't wait to get out of the car and get going.

So mom and dad didn't get to read the old stuff.

We took the red trail.

Nice action shot of me leaping over a huge log.

To and from I go - over the HUGE LOG. I think that thought we were at an agility course. (which I'm not fond of yet)

Good smells.

HELLO, Hello, hellooooooooo anyone in here?

Nothing.

Sure does smell good though.

Back to the beginning and I 'think' I'm tired! Happy trails.
