After Party

As if Airefaire was not enough excitement....we also stopped by to see Aunt Connie. She lives on a farm...... with DONKEYS! Aunt Connie is a lover of all things Airedale....I'll tell that story another time.
In the meantime meet my new friends the donkeys!

AireFaire!

Oh what fun it is to see 40 airedales in a PARADE! Airedale Rescue and Adoption of Delaware Valley had a party and you know we went!
It was quite the drive to Airefaire but worth every minute. There were all shapes and sizes of dales! Who Knew?!!! Here's Patches.

There were auctions and donations...because Dales need to be saved....and of course there was shopping @ Blooming Dales!
We had a Parade and Daddy was very happy, even tried to change the parade route...by accident.

Look @ all those good looking Airedales...as far as the eye can see!

The Queen's Cape

I forgot to show you my new Queen cape? It's Violet, it's cool, it's a Cool Coat! We'll be taking the cape to the Airefaire tomorrow. It's going to be 90 plus degrees! UGH! Do you think it makes my butt look big from the back? All the other Aire-girl's will be so jealous!

Hail to the dale

Holy Hailstorm Batman!

Queen Violet was chauffered home from a day of festivities @ dog care. The diva knew the weather was about to change. She didn't want to get out of the van....Matt tried and tried, she even came out the side door and went back in through the hatchback! The rain and wind picked up and all of the sudden Hail, Hail the gangs all here!

As my very educated husband was holding an umbrella, they were struck by lightening, both men felt the electricity and I saw a flash of light! Luckily her driver and daddy ran to the porch for shelter before it was too late. It was wild!!!

Everyone is fine and Queen will be calling her subjects again soon.

A walk in the woods

Ah, we finally found a nice hike by water. Violet is on the hunt for squirrels and bunnies. After she lets them live another day, she cools her heels in the lovely streams or creeks or as Matt says 'cricks'. Hey look, there's mom!

Friday night Festivities

Great night for visitors....Remington and Roxy stopped by and ran, tousled, ran, drank some water, ran some more. Remington, big chocolate lab visited, he likes V - but - who doesn't like Violet? His last visit was when we had lots of snow. Roxy is a pitbull/boxer mix. She's a big girl and the pix looks like she's all teeth but they really enjoyed each others company. V was one tired girl! YEY! Thanks Remington and Roxy!

Cool Dirt

I think this is a 6-8 inch opening. How does a delicate girl fit all her 'aire-ness' in the opening? In other years there have been pink and white or orange flowers in this lovely raised garden. That's not gonna happen any time soon!

Boxes

MMMMMmmmmmmm my favorite time of the morning! Breakfast for an airedale. My mom left me a box of raisin bran to munch on. Who needs a bowl when you have a nice big back yard! The nose knows a good breakfast.

Another Visit with Quincey

No that's not a bear, that's QUINCEY! Also known as Q bear. Today was very hot so the the running, biting, and bunny hopping was at a minimum today. But the garden was a huge hit. Whew, it was an exhausting GOOD time!
