Frosty girl

I've always called her Frosty girl because she has white hairs in her black saddle. But today she really is a Frosty Girl! A sprinkling of snow still holds on after an hour @ the dog park. Good times.
And good pix later in the day.

It's funny how this silly cheese, on the display, at the Acme, brings warm memories of mom, in the middle of the refrigerator aisle. BUT I didn't cry.... I'm proud of myself. AND now it's become a new Eastburn Sunday treat.

movie attempt

for all you dog walkers, here's my first movie attempt. It's intoxicating! and only 48 seconds hahaha However, you can clearly see Matt's happiness.

1.76 - No problem!

This is our bike trail close to home. Today we took Miss Violet and she easily did the 1.76 and back. This hound can WALK!

Can you spot the Gustov?

Remember the scene in "ET" when he was within all the stuffed animals. The mom didn't notice ET. This reminded me of that scene. I think I walked by this mess 3 times before noticing Gustov!

1 more thing

1 more thing about having a dog, is you get to see more sunrises and sunsets. This is today's sunrise, on the way to work. I was early bc I had to walk Violet!

Cousins

We walked with Violet's Cousins today. You'll remember Bear, and joining us today was the beautiful Bella the bulldog. Ok let's face it - it's all about the Bulldog - she rec'd ALOT of attention. Her smiles just lights up and the butt is a curly que of cuteness, but don't forget about the grunting!
Violet enjoyed a good stick, Braden was so good keeping up with everyone, and Bear is just the best Akita ever!

1/5/10 Vet appt

Violet was sooooo good at the vet appt. She had her shots, ears and such sampled. She met Gunner a HUGE chesapeake Bay Retriever - he likes ducks and Violet. I learned open mouth means anxious, so she's not feeling great but she performed wonderfully! And Matt was good too!

Seeing Delaware

The humans really LOVED today's walk @ Bellevue State Park. It was hilly and had lots of trees to block the ferocious winds. This will be a great walk in the summer bc everything will be shaded. We bundled up today and braved the howling.
We saw some Huskies pulling their humans on scooters and bikes. We've seen the guy with the mustache @ Middletown dog park, last month. Small dog world. All these dogs were having a great time!

A walk in the park with a Bear

Bear was the best dog teacher today. He politely met Violet and showed her how to be a good puppy. Nicole is a wonderful animal lover. She ran Violet lots, as you can see the two are best buddies already.
