Mom and Violet took a walk today on this beautiful sunny Friday. My fearless airedale saved me from a very bad groundhog. See the pointing action, alerting me that something is amiss. Then the sit down, as in - we are not leaving this spot. Stare down, and see the big bad groundhog - Gus is that you?

Dog Fest 2010

Today we found a gold mine for socializing with humans and other pups. DogFest benefits Great Danes - which by the way are spectacular dogs, however there were many rescue groups there accepting donations and applications for adoptions. This was our first time, and we'll be back for years to come.

But the best part was meeting a fellow airedale. Mako 7 yr male who has been to Westminster! V and he had a great time hanging out and playing. His human had LOTS of info for us about the local dale club. We can wait!

All my boys looking out the window....But wait what is that? A fly? A Bee? A leaf? A piece of cat hair? Oh no, but of course it's a STINK BUG. Thanks to my hunters I have one less STINK BUG!!!!

Yey Saturday - Dog park excitement

So today is beautiful so off to the big dog park again. We met some big, and I mean BIG Alaskan Malamutes.....Hank and Bella!
Notice the leash on the way into the park and on the way out of the park!
