NC sight seeing

While we were in North Carolina, we had to go in search of a state park. The closet one was 1 1/2 hours away. Now, you know I LOVE my state parks and here in Delaware we go to several different ones on the weekends. Only a 20-45 minute drive. So finding one in NC was a challenge and THIS one was near the inter coastal waterway. Hence the fun dock!



We liked hiking on the boardwalks.


This one looks scary in the wide shot....just bugs, no GATORS!


They have HUGE Pine cones in NC. I know a doggie blogger who loves himself a good pinecone. Can you name who THAT is?



Daddy said I was good on our excursion.


I can't say that I'm surprised!


We found a doggie bakery! YIPPEE! I like me some good Alligator and sandal cookies.

Birthday wish

So, my birthday wish was to go to the beach. I am so happy!



Luckily, mom and dad already had a birthday beach vacation to North Carolina planned.



You know what? I am a VERY Good doggie passenger.....8-9 hour drive is a longgggggg time. But I didn't complain at ALL!

Digging, scratching, sniffing, pawing and digging some more. That is a GOOD Time!

She's Baaaaccckk

Violet was on her first vacation to the ocean in North Carolina - 9 hours away. Mommy and Violet were very good on the ride but the last 2 hours were LONG......
The beach was lovely, water was warm, and the company was very fun. We still got up early for our morning walks....so early we watched the full moon set and the sun rise! Felt like the only family on earth at that time of day.
V loved the beach - see daddy try to keep up! The ocean - NOT SO MUCH!
