Knighted Quinecy
My brother came over on the weekend. He's looking good but was very hot. It's been 90 degrees plus for like..... EVER! I suggested he try my Kool Koat.

Almost There
The kitties are 'almost' there was accepting me. Roman, the fearless black cat, swatted me once and now I'm kind of afraid of him. I keep asking them to play with me but I guess they're not ready.

Why my humans think I couldn't get it there is beyond me? But I found a way!

Lighthouse adventure
Mommy got the map out again today, which usually means a new experience is on the horizon. So off we went to Maryland in search of a Turkey Point Light house.
Apparently this is a dangerous hike...mommy likes these, daddy asked if his life insurance is paid up.
There are no turkeys here at Elk Neck State park. Alas there are no Elk either! So it’s the ‘find what ever you want’ park to me.
Nice long trail to the Hawk watch area, again the winged creatures were no where to be found. We’ll go back in the fall to see some good hawks.
Nothing but beautiful butterflies today and cool looking vines.
Me checking out that moving water. This water cannot be trusted and I’m not going anywhere near it!
Ah the infamous Light house over looking the cliffs of the Chesapeake Bay. Just lovely!
These humans stopped to give me some love. Of course I remembered my manners and didn’t jump. End of trail and prong collar helped me to be good. Notice this woman’s hiking foot wear. Compare her sandals to mom/dad boots. Oh well, gotta go with what you got!

Lots of Blur
Well, you see when you're an Airedale...things happen quickly. We do everything fast and furious, run, jump, shake our toy, eat, drink, and dig. You have to keep up or you're left behind...in the dust, grass, dirt, and/or mud! Take Dad for example. We're outside for an hour or so trying to cool off as is so dang hot in Delaware.
So to keep cool, I do what I do best. DIG.
Daddy was relaxing for a minute but starts to request that I stop digging.
But I can't because I'm good at it. He tries in vain to cover the hole...HA...what a joke!
Oh wait, I think I hear a another neighborhood doggie coming to visit. I gotta go....see ya Dad...I'll be back to finish that hole later! In a flash it's all over.....
Notice my bunny hop.

We would like to remind you to support your State parks. We know National Parks get all the attention bc they are truly spectacular and wonders of the world...... but the State parks need love and attention too. Heck they're the daily, weekend party times for most dogs. YEY State parks!!!!
