I run, hop and skip in the snow and weather under 30 degrees. I LOVE it. Afterward, I tend to get a little thirsty. Therefore, I like a nice cold one after all that activity.
AND I have options, ice cubes and slushies. Mommy turns over the ice in my water bowl and I start licking and licking. She fills up the bowl with water and snow, for my slushie options.
Today I prefer the cold, hard ice cube....In the summer time Mommy adds some chicken broth....oh baby is that good!
When I lick the ice cube I wonder why I am NOT like the kid in the Christmas Story because my tongue doesn't stick. I guess I'm extremely lucky! And he's not!
We love the cold weather too, Violet and ice is so yummy as long as we're not standing on it and eating it at the same time!

Hey Violet's Mommy - I used to fill two liter bottles with water and freeze them. Our airedale loved playing with them on hot summer days. Just an idea.

I agree! The chicken broth slushie sounds like something my three pups would love. We don't have frozen water too often in the bowl (too warm), but they do like ice cubes---either in their water or straight up.
