Green Peace

Did I tell you I'm in my terrible two's? Apparently I am ;)
AND I have a new trick.

I like to sit down when I'm done. And I don't move until I'm ready. Here's an example, I am sitting down because I do not want to leave the farmer's market. By accident, we missed the organic dog treat venue and I'm not leaving until we get some.

Another example.......we don't have recent pictures of this but.......Dad and I went to Pet Smart and I was playing with a nice 6 month old St. Bernard, and then daddy said let's go.

I sat down - he pulled - I ducked and in an instant I was out of my collar and free as a bird! Daddy starting running after me. I ran and ran as fast as I could, not noticing the cars in the parking lot, or the highway....I was a blur in the this....

And this.....Daddy ran, and ran, three of the Pet Smart employees ran too! I spotted a pond/water reservoir with lots of geese. I stopped to say hello to these geese and Daddy grabbed me.

Now, my humans say Greenpeace when I sit down and won't get up. I don't know why, but they don't like this new trick ;)

  1. Good thing you don't read, Violet, or you might try Miro's trick of flopping onto his back and making like a piece of overcooked spaghetti. I'm sure you enjoyed your "adventure" and hope you never do that again!

  2. Violet-
You stubborn little miss! You are 100% terrier, but we still love you!

  3. We're glad your dad snagged you as you were greeting the geese, Violet! We're thinkin' that's not a great trick to remember!

    Love ya lots

  4. LOL! Ohhh the memories. I remember when we got our airedale the vet said 25 pounds of pure terror! He was right. Now the Welsh...he's way worse! He's in his terrible 5's!!! I'm glad Violet didn't get hit, but the story his so funny. They are the smartest dogs!

  5. did some very scarey things there Violet!

We love ya too bits..but think your new learned trick is not too good...especially when it involves cars and highways.

    Stay safe young lady!

  6. Whoa!! Hope you stay safe! My pug used to back out of her collar and run. A harness cured her of that.
    Stay away from those highways!
