Yogurt treat

Many of you commented on my hot weather treat.
I take my treats from mom's hands v-e-r-y gently.
Doesn't look like it but I'm very diva about it!

Mom stuffs a previous enjoyed bone that has a hole in it.
She puts treats in the bottom then adds plain yogurt and
sends it to the deep freeze.

After a good sniff I think this is
regular yogurt not greek yogurt.
I enjoy both.

Mom thinks it cools me off because it's cold.
I don't care if it's a yogurtiscle or not
I'm enjoying it.

And then I nap on the cool floor not in any of my beds?
What?  You don't have more than on bed?

  1. We need to get our mom to make us yogurtiscles too! yummmmmmm
Hey, Violet - I did kill that mousie! He actually wasn't a gonner while dad was holding him in that picture but he did pass away shortly after. oops - He must have drown in all of my slobber!

    Love ya lots,
    Mitch and Molly

  2. Violet-
Sorry you are having a heat wave, but that yogurt-sicle should do the trick...Yummers!!
To answer your question, we always get clipped. Mom's had 4 Airedales and she thinks clipping is just fine a couple of times per year. All her Airedales have had dark coats. But they do fade with age. Stanzie had a really dark coat as a young miss!

  3. Sounds like a great way to cool down! :)

  4. Oh man!! Violet, that is such good news about your treat...I CAN HAVE YOGURT!! I was a little jealous about your yummy lookin' treat, thinkin' that there is no way I could have such a treat on my 'diet'....Wow, I'll get Ma on that right away!! (oh, btw, I have 4 beds!...usually end up under the table anyway. what is with us Airechicks? BOL)

  5. An Airedale's bed is wherever the Airedale says it is! Alanis likes the cushy dog bed in the living room but I like Mom's bed or either of the stairway landings so that I can keep an eye on things.

  6. Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I'm about ready to fight Violet over her hot weather treats! We need a break in this heat and we need more rain. They are banning our fireworks :-( because of the drought.
