Ok I'm back

ah fall days are beautiful for a good hike with my brother.

In this video you will see that I am a Diva....I DO NOT like my feet wet at all. I'd rather walk on rocks then get my tootsies damp.

By the way, I have a question for my airebuddies.

Last weekend I went to doggie day care for 3 days while my p's enjoyed their weekend at Penn State. My peeps noticed I was limping on Monday and quite frankly it's improved but I'm not better.

I limp for about 4-7 steps when I get up from a seated position. Then I'm fine, I run and hop and skip and jump. When mom squeezes my whole leg I don't wince, bite or cry. Hence I was able to see my brother today.

I'm not crated but I do alot of laying around all day. So my p's are not confining me, nor did they give me any medicine. Mom is becoming concerned because it's been a week, but she feels confident that it's just a sore muscle.

Do you guys have any suggestions to help me get better faster? Or do you have any thoughts on why I'm not getting back to myself. If I'm not better by the end of this week mom is taking me to see the doctor. I guess that's a threat - yikes

  1. I hate getting my princess paws wet too, Violet! We girls are just alike!
Did you maybe play too hard and you sprained your foot? We've had this happen to us before and eventually mom takes us to the vet for a lyme test. Paws are crossed that your limpies are gone by tomorrow!

  2. Wyatt and Stanzie play and run hard, they limp sometimes too. Stanzie is almost 10, so she takes anti-inflammatory meds. Wyatt always recovers after a day or two of less activity. But, it's hard to keep an Airedale down..haha!
Hope Violet gets over her limp soon, Aire Kisses to Violet :)

  3. One time we took Abby to get groomed. They called us because she was hyperventilating so badly they were afraid she was going to pass out. We picked her up, and not only was she hyperventilating, she was limping. They, of course, said nothing happened at their place. I think you have a good plan. Keep us posted.
