Saturday Treats

Saturdays usually go like this.
Hike with me.....because I need my exercise AND we need to get our Iditawalk time in.

Chores are next....usually a stop at the library. Did you know Dad reads about 4-6 books a month?

Then we go home to sit and relax. This time of year Daddy has a snack of cheese/crackers and Hot Chocolate and a Flyers game or book.

The kitties have some shredded cheese. Chuckie loves his cheese and is almost used to me.

Gustov is almost used to Mom...haha....he's the scaredey cat.

Roman Spirit is surveying all the treat dispensing.

Petunia prefers her treat in the sunny spot. As you can see I've been there a time or two based on the nose prints in the window.

Mom participated in a Valentines exchange with the Bee Lady (see side list of blogs). Mom was very excited to receive beautiful scrapbooking supplies from Bee Lady's sister Theresa.

She immediately used the treats and made a page.

And last but not least, my Saturday treat is a big juicy bully stick! I love Saturdays!

Weekend Wonder

This is mom's favorite time of the year. Look at those lovely tree colors!

Look at this lovely Airegirl. Sitting so pretty....she could not have done this....

Teeth marks in the butter. That butter is gonna be in your first batch of chocolate chip cookies, mom!

How on earth did those teeth marks get in there?

Even Roman Spirit is backing me up, mom...he says I didn't do it.

Maybe this little guy did it. Not dad...he likes chocolate chippers. Yeah, I'm sure it's this guy....why would he be praying all the time if he didn't do it? Huh? HUH?

Guest Blogger Roman the cat

Work from home is good for everyone. Daddy works from home on Thursdays and we all love it!

Violet gets to go in and out, and we (the kitties) have more ‘protection’ from the very big cat. I know she's not going to hurt us but she's big and goofy and shakes and shimmies when she sees us. It's alittle intimidating but she only sniffs and wants to play.
Today my bother Chuckie and I are taking in the fishes activities.

Hey wait, where did that big cat go? Is she coming back into the house?

Chuckie, Hey Chuck, where did you run off too?

Here's my close up. I'm known as Big Bad Roman, Linebacker kitty and I'm NOT afraid of anyone, or anything. However, I'm also a snuggle bear when needed. Some times they call me my favorite: Roman spirit or as they say in Latin "Roman Espir-it-too"

Almost There

The kitties are 'almost' there was accepting me. Roman, the fearless black cat, swatted me once and now I'm kind of afraid of him. I keep asking them to play with me but I guess they're not ready.

But this is nice................. I'm sitting next to Roman Spirit and we're all good.
